Nice! Especially like the double oval! Great early piece-just need to throw a slant grip on there

The most commonly found mark on Eickhorns is the etched 35-41 seated squirrel holding sword (your first one).

The small stamped mark, your second one is the one that, I think, is the hardest to find.

My view in terms of TMs on Heer daggers is the following:

1 - etched seated squirrel holding sword.
2 - double oval serrated tail
          3 - 41 over shoulder squirrel
4 - small stamped seated squirrel holding sword.

          Most commonly found to least.

What do you guys in collecitng land think?

I'd take John's list and swap #3 and #4. The over the shoulder mark is rarer than the small etched maker mark IMO.

I agree with Frank, I also think the over the shoulder mark is the rarest.

The Eickhorn marks on Heer daggers are as follows to my knowledge - Dates are not approximate but estimates.
                1) Double oval - 1935
                2) Seated Squirrel holding sword - 1935-1940
                3) Small stamped Mark - 1940-1941
                4) Over the shoulder - Post 1941

Do you think the early Eick Armies with the slant grip and double oval mark might slip into late 1934, I know the regulations might say differently but they are extremely early.

Certainly possible - I would think it would have taken some time (months) for the manufacturers to gear up for the demand Im not sure what the exact date the army officer dagger was officially debut does any one have any literature stating that ? the only reference I could find is 1935

Heer daggers was first introduced during the 1935. (His name was M1935 dagger.)
The occasion was - reorganization of the army, and Wehrmacht creation.
