Would like your opinions please on this double etched artillery bayonet, someone has cast doubt on it and before i sell it one id better be sure im not going to pass on a DUD. Your comments will be welcome. Pete.

Cheers John for your opinion, sorry dont have the book, from my un experienced eye the two etches are very similar, your appears to fit in smaller on the blade leaving an outer boarder, my example does not, would that be the death of it? My pics are crap i must admit and dont have the blade in hand so im going to wait to have a better look on tuesday, again cheers for taking the time to reply, Pete

When JohnZ doesn't like a bayo etch, you better not like it either, or it will hurt later.
Your example is clear fake. Compare the quality. What happened to the interior border edge - it blended with the 'blade field' ?
