    I would appreciate any help.

More pics of details are needful and with the full length of the blade.

Agreed, better detailed pics, particularly of the blade, would be good to see.

I have to agree with my other colleagues comments but I think it has a chance. But, even so it is too much ££££ in my opinion. British dealers are notoriously over-priced and I am amazed some have managed to remain in business at all.
I would look for a better deal if I were you.

I thought all of the British dealer websites were on-line museums. You mean that those numbers are prices???

Check with JR Meda. He had some nice ones at our local show a few weeks ago. If I was looking for another SS I would check with JR first.

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it. I will try to get them to email me some higher quality photos and tell me the length of the blade.

Yes sadly the prices here do seem very high. I am just a bit concerned about ordering such a high valued item from overseas even though the price would be far cheaper. I had also been looking at this dagger:-

I really wouldn't bother with that one, the bade is shot and condition is all when it is time to sell. Today more than ever the collector has to be very discriminating in what we buy. If you can't afford good condition today your money will be as good tomorrow as it is today and better to wait for something you will not regret down the line.

Like already said you can't go wrong with JR. Nobody knows these better.
Keep an eye on the E stand. Some good pieces pop up from time to time.
Just don't be in a hurry is my best advice.

                  Thanks Vaughan.
Think I found his website, meda militaria.

I was wondering if you have purchased a dagger from the US before by mail order. Any issues with UK customs?

I shall wait and see what comes along.

                  Thanks for the help everyone.
