Klaasic 'button-eye' klaas right? And, dark grips much tougher to find than light?

Hilt looks to be E.Pack with the Type-1 crossguard Klaas did use a Pack guard later in the period but not familiar with them using the early Pack guard. Does the scabbard have the Klaas asterics on the ends ?

thanks a lot. dunno about the asterisks (and of course these far preferred) - tho the scabb bands seem to have different amounts of embellishing. I wouldn't think a red flag but the guard seems a pretty serious 'infraction.'

I've seen this dagger. Grip and scabbard are damaged on the reverse side.
