    Hello, this is my bayonet.
It is a memory of a former combatant of the French 9th DIC.
    Here are some more pictures.
    The manufacturer is SOLINGEN
Thank you in advance for your opinions.

Same opinion, looks like correct old KS98 with interesting unit etch and a combat S84/98 that should be oiled or lightly cleaned. What is stamping on the combat piece?

However, the marked unit does not exist!
It is marked "Panzer Abw 25" when the real name is "Panzer Abw Abt 25"!
How do you explain this mistake?

Here are links daggers for equivalent units / sisters:

Marking said ok. The unit is properly marked! Not like yours BLANKET

The above, the unit is properly marked (although partially erased). Furthermore, the phrase data indicated therein by BMC.
In addition, the markings appear cleaner and better finished thereon

            Here is another

The marking is postwar according to several people

From The Lexikon of Wehrmacht. The location of Kornwestheim ist correct on etch. "Am 6. Oktober 1936 wurde die Abteilung zur Panzer-Abwehr-Abteilung 25 umbenannt. Die Abteilung wurde jetzt der neuen 25. Infanterie-Division unterstellt. 1937 verlegt die Abteilung nach Kornwestheim, ebenfalls Wehrkreis V. "

Marking can be reduced by the burner because of the importance of the text?
It would be great if someone had a catalog showing the engraving.
Many people think it is rather good.

Andy, thank you for your interest, I will pass it in private message when I get home.
To avoid confusion, I wish that we remain focused on the bayonet engraved in this post please.
