DLV / NSFK Flyers knife for review

I need a little help with this dagger. It seems that some of this is good, the scabbard is numbered on the throat, the guard is marked underneath on one end with a "K", it all seems to me okay maybe, except for the wrong grip, or maybe the leather has been removed from this wood grip.The blade seems not quite right, it's marked "Helbig", and the blade is really blunt on the edges near the tip, are there fake Helbig blades? Possibly a parts dagger with a fake blade??
I could use the experts to pick this apart for me, it is being offered to me with two others, and I have some doubts of all of them and need some help.

It's all original TR period. The grip leather is gone and someone painted it, nice match. The blade is original but bad condition. It would be a decent restoration project if it weren't for the blade. Unless you can get it REAL cheap, pass on it and save up for a nice one.
