Need your help on this SS dagger please

I got a call on this SS dagger but I do have some concerns about it.

Is it a late war dagger? There is no marker, RZM or numbers anywhere. Looks to be chrome fittings. Etching appears to be correct and nicely etched. The letter P is marked on the tang. No idea what that is for.

Handle has no cracks that I could see. The eagle fits nicely but the SS button looks off color, almost looks bronze, not silver outline.

Scabbard is straight with only one small dent to the lower fitting of the scabbard.

Do you see any red flags? Should I jump on it or let it go?

Almost looks as if the handle was from an SA but died black to fit the SS dagger. This might be a good parts dagger because of that.

At it's very BEST I think this may be a parts dagger, with mixed parts from SS and SA pieces; at it's worst it may be a complete composite fake. Let it go.
