SS Himmler Dagger or Tomato Stake?

There I was watching the door of this weekends show when an older gentleman came in with a black German Dagger under his arm as he was paying for ticket. I approach him and ask to see dagger, he hands it to me and its a nice anodized 1933 SS dagger with a nasty wooden grip with the eagle inletted correctly upside down. Also no SS rune button. My heart sinks and I pull out the blade and it appears to be a very nice Himmler presentation by Eickhorn. The replaced grip makes the fittings somewhat loose, but the lower crossguard is marked 2 and when held in place has excellent fit to the blade. Fittings all coated in nicotine. Please guys, tell me that Ive found a treasure and not something to use in the garden this spring!

The pics you took have much glare and are on sharp angles. Would be better if they were straight on and show the full blade mottos obverse and reverse.

Sorry, but I'm not feeling it for this blade. The etch it all over the place and lacks the fine lines of an original IMO.
