Lay down some sheets as the electrician may well s**t himself when he see's that lot.... I don't collect edged weapons.....yet, but I can appreciate quality when I see it...very nice!

How did you finally manage the customs thing??

Well, I got really lucky! I wandered into NZ Customs, having declared that I had prohibited weapons on the form. My suitcase and steel carry case were bulging with daggers and swords. I had the NZ Police Permit to import clutched in my hand. The Customs guy looked at the forms and obviously had no idea what was what. So he called another guy over. He looked at the forms, looked at me, looked at the other guy, mumbled something........and waved me through!!

I think I just overwhelmed them with data - too much paper, to confusing to sort out what was what. They didn't even open the bags!

I couldn't believe my luck - No Duty!!
