M7/67 1940 SS dagger for review

Hello all,

The only photos I have but I just wanted to know if there were any real red flags on this minty example. From what I've researched this is quite a rare maker - RZM M.7/67 is for Gottlieb Hammesfahr and less than a handful in collections, is that correct?

Hi William,
these pics are not the best,but from what i can see,i don't like the grip and the sigrunes!
The grip has the wrong style.The upper and lower curves are much smoother on real ones. It also appears that the motto is too far down the blade.

Dave( dblmed) owns one of these rare daggers.

Considering the investment in this SS Dagger, I would require very sharp photos of the dagger in addition to a few blade measurements. I just don't trust fuzzy photos on a dark background as a point of principle. In addition, a must have is a sharp photo of the maker mark. Like so...

Here are some links about these daggers.The dagger posted by Skyline & Börse is a real one.Sold by B.Shea a few years ago.The pics are very small,but note the grip style & motto position.The dagger posted by sdp(where is this guy?) taken from a russian forum is a fake.Note the grip style & motto position,sigrunes and eagle!
The TM is on both,fake and real,the same.

There really is no excuse for poor quality photos. Out of focus in poor light is just not acceptable and immediately makes me think there is something to conceal. If anyone sent me pictures like that I wouldn't even reply.

You're right William!
This dagger is off. Look the one in the first link and note the guards,grip and motto placement. Too many differences.
