    opinions Scrabbard heer dagger original?

    Hello,
    I need your opinions about this heer dagger Scrabbard, real or fake.
    The Scrabbard is magnetic

      Hello Winfreid,

      I have a Luftwaffe 2nd dagger and scabbard with a maker mark Alcosa on the blade, and a set of books by Thomas M. Johnson to use as a reference. I don't consider myself an expert, but the swirling pattern and lack of pebbling density on your 2nd Luftwaffe dagger scabbard looks to be a known reproduction piece.

        I think this is a correct, period type B generic scabbard, these have the "swirles" warned of in early references and scare alot of folks..Kevin.

            For me it is fine Winfried.
