    Another Veteran SS M33!!!!!!!!

I just picked up this dirty dog and boy is it dirty! The veteran's son had it and said he hadn't even touched it in the last 30 years and it looks like it. The cross guards are just nasty and the top one is almost black . The best part of this dirty exterior is the fact that the scabbard has all of the "anodizing" and lots of lacquer along with a perfect ball (that looks somewhat dented in the pictures) if not most and that the outside is hiding a gorgeous blade.

SUPER SCOOP ! KUDOS...THATS WHAT iM TALKIN BOUT WILLIS! AND I BET YOU GOT THE DEAL OF YOUR LIFE...ne?

By the way ..Heergeezer....dont feel bad, and think you're looking in the wrong place, there is stuff everywhere yet to be scooped...just use this find as inspiration to begin to start talking to folks you don't know, and see what turns up....for you...its just numbers , the more folks you talk to about your collecting hobby, the better your chances are to scoop the woodwork..(but expect some will think you are nuts). As I always say:it ain't rocket science...I spoke with a marine ww2 vet today who was on Iwo...he had several japanese rifles , but gave them to his two boys, as he was only in his 80s, he said he lied about his age to enlist as he was only 16,so at least hit the buffets , and look for vets wearing hats proclaiming they are ww2 vets....then walk up and talk to them(when they are loading their plates or filling their glasses ...they are generally nice people ....and always thank them for their contribution to our countries freedom....you would be surprised whats still to be found. STOP THAT TRAIN OF THOUGHT..NEGATIVITY ONLY WORKS AGAINST YOU...THINK: YOU ARE GOING TO FIND STUFF EVERY TIME YOU HUNT.....In the woodwork it's one deal for every hundred people you speak with you do not personally know(strangers)....if you find more than that...you have beaten the odds and I would say you were lucky. This is something many who are on here will never tell you....I did because I know how it is done...and one more thing...always pay vets better than anybody else...they deserve the lions share....these are the good old days .

Thank you guys for the compliments! I have been very fortunate and in fact not a month ago I "retrieved" a Himmler honor from from woodwork.
