...And here's the RAD EM hewer that was amongst the proverbial "pile"...Totally untouched example by Krebs with mucho patina throughout. Only liability being a very small bit of chipping at the point which could, I suppose, be easily repaired but in the overall scheme of things, isn't a big deal aesthetically. Considering that these were "working" knives, I suppose finding them in relatively good shape at all is reason to rejoice. A couple of shots below...

Hi Milton,
This looks like a good piece to me, and as you said, the condition is indicative of the actual use RAD Hewers were put to in the field. I wouldn't touch a thing on it, even the tip; obviously this piece knew the effects of hard work! And the scrapes and scratches to the scabbard enhance the charm of this piece, as well. The only 'improvement' that could be made to this hewer is the addition of a leather hanger, which would also increase its value.
