Dress bayonet knot id help please...

Hello forum. This was part of a larger vet lot...Standard fare dress bayonet in truly excellent, minty condition (blade is like a mirror), still housed in its patent leather frog w/ original knot, which appears to be silver gray in color, with a faded yellow (or off white), ball. Can anyone identify this knot? Thank you in advance for any help.

These is not knot, but bayonet portepee.
It should belong to the infantry - first battalion, first company.
Is it original, I do not know.

      Hello,

this is a Troddel (kont), not a Portepee.

The colours shows this Knot belongs to a 1. Kompanie or a 1. Batterie

This knots were not only be used by the infanterie... also by the Artillerie and the Marineinfanterie.

Red portepee marks artillery, and white infantry.
