When comparing the crossguard here and in the thread of the german dagger forum it seems that the number is the same but the daggers (crossguards) are different.
But all shown daggers seem to be faked daggers.

is it just my eyes ? but the 2nd dagger shown here and then referenced to the link, are 2 different daggers , both with the numbers 21 stamped in. one has no suspension rings on the scabbard, the other does. and there is a very different finish looking at the cross guard eagles ? just an observation

The hilt components are Alcoso style and show a sloppy assembly. On the scabbard the upper scabbard band shows the leaves going one way, the lower ones go in the opposite direction. Whoever did the assembly should be working in a bucket shop.

Stamping the assembly #'s to the exterior are in my mind an attempt to legitimize this thing.

Assembler numbers are on the inside, they didn't serial number this model and the fonts don't look of the correct type to me.
