Hi petervkh,
I personally am not in favor of beautifying daggers. I believe that each tells its own story and should therefore be as it is. Your dagger is Kaiserliche Marine M1901 which has been equipped for the requirements of M1938. I do not see the manufacturer's TM on the blade, I can only conclude that the replacement pommel is typical for Alcoso.

There is no makers mark on the blade.Can the manufacturer be identified with the "7" stamped on the tang?
Can you tell me something on the originality of the dagger?
