SA dagger w/ unmarked and plain blade

Hello all,

I have this one here and wanted to get some opinions on it. I have never seen an unmarked blade without a motto, perhaps just severely buffed by a previous owner? An unfinished factory piece?

Pure speculation on my part:
However that may well be post war assembly as a souvenir for a G.I.
