I know these are very often suspect. Any opinions are welcome. I thought it was a decent piece.

From what I can see it looks good. I believe this is an Eichorn pattern, can't get to my book right now. No glaring red flags though.Comment

This is indeed a proper Eickhorn etch pattern. It may just the the photograph, but it appears that the etch pattern of the oak leaves may run off the blade on the spine side. If this is so, it is not a good sign. All the oak leaves should be visible and fit properly on the blade since it is an Eickhorn etch template on an Eickhorn blade. If it does not fit or is sloppy in execution, it may be a red flag.
