Dagger help-- SS and Diplomat daggers

    Hello forum..

I saw these two daggers at a gun show this morning.

they are expensive.... IE $5k for the pair... and wanted to see if they are real.

The seller is holding on to them for me... but... I am leary... especially on big dollar items.

I assume the diplomat if orignal would be worth $5000 or more alone?

    thansk for the help Robert

Wonderful GO by a better maker: Eickhorn.
SS looks nice, but must be a Grd. Rohm, as I see no maker

                Choices in Life!

If you can do both - do it!

If not . . . the SS is nice . . . but make a reasonable buy on the Diplo over the SS - that appears to be the "gem" of the deal.

One day, I doubt you will regret either choice possible - SS/Diplo/Both - no matter what you buy.

                Good luck!

                  I'd buy 'em straight away.
                  5K for the pair expensive? C'mon ...

The ss looks like a non marked blade which is rarely seen on an m33. I saw quite a few of these blades, all of them bears the same motto pattern and none marked crossguards
An identical example is shown on the "old brigade" (code 32680). I also own one of these daggers.
The dagger you've shown is fine

Actually the SS looks like typical early M36 dagger in M33 scabbard.

It looks to me that the crossguard is stamped with an "I".
