Private purchase police bayonet

What do you feel about this private purchase police bayonet and mainly about the screws and blots of the staghorn grips ?
It was made by ALCOSO.

I have never seen an Alcoso Pol Extra-Seitengewehr put together with screwbolts on the grips like this. The scabbard should also have scalloped fittings rather than the straight across ones so I think this one is wrong. I can't tell much about the grips from the photographs.

I feel the same about the screwbolts. I didn't note the trouble with the scabbard fitting.

I personally dont like the handle, looks like a postwar heavy metall cast? maybe the blade is origin and other parts were put together. or its a Alu version?

Its running on eBay and is not correct. Put together and Alcoso never made on like this IMO.

You were right to be skeptical about this one. Initially I felt the bayonet itself was OK with the stag grip plates being obvious replacements with spanner nuts but Ron mentions Alcoso never made a Polizei bayonet in this form. I have seen one or two that looked much more period than this one, will have to check my records. I think it's quite possible the blade is from a KS98 & was rehilted to an aluminum Polizei bayonet hilt. As George says, scabbard is incorrect for this model bayonet. The whole thing is a Frankenstein piece at best.
