Hello to all,
Does anyone recognize this type of sword? It certainly appears to be a German-style sword of some type but I don't recognize it. I think it is either Imperial or something from the Weimar Period. The blade is not maker-marked and the only visible markings are a 3-46 stamped into the scabbard, near the throat. The scabbard is nickel-plated with a brass fitting at the drag. The scabbard is set up to fit a leather frog rather than a hanger with sword belt Thank you for any and all assistance.
Best regards,
Tom
