Hello Greg, thanks for made of the pictures, its very nice bayo, it was made from Coppel GmbH, Solingen in 1944 under letter code fnj, the bard should be have the same serial, but is probably a spare, without any serials, new serial on crossguard and the rivet of bard mouth speaks for postwar upgrade. Probably in DDR or Yugoslavia. I hope this help a little,best regards,Andy
