    NSKK Dagger opinion before E-Stand

    Hello all!
I just picked up this NSKK SA Dagger.
Seems to date from 1933-36. The maker is pretty rare; Paul Ebel.
It was brought back by Charles Patterson from the US 8th Armour.
    Completely unmessed with.
It's not perfect. Biggest flaw is the tip of the blade. It also has a shallow scabbard dent and is missing one of the two screws on the lower scabbard fitting. The SA roundel also has some corrosion.

Any opinions are welcome before I post it to e-stand! Thanks-Jeff

looks like a nice honest piece with a somewhat oddly freshly painted scabbard and clean scabbard fittings.

          scabbard pics

Thanks, the patina of the scabbard matching the dagger. The finish on the scabbard is nice, but it's just the pic that makes it look fresh. Here are some better pics of the scabbard.

Looks like the tip is broken off

              tip

The very very tip is...that's why I said the biggest issue with the dagger is the tip of the blade.
