I've seen ALOT of fake ss bayonets like this...
I wonder myself if this is a fantasy piece

THe grip screws look like there on backwards

Looks like upgraded piece, unfortunally bad pictures, but the pommel are is cold blued, when added the new stamp, the grip was probably sanded or its newer production with added emblem, the yugo frog speaks clear language.I dont believe its real. Any other stamps there? thanks.A.

Thanks for the information i bought this from s dealer at ciney who looks reliable to me, bought more items from this person... If its true and this bayonet is not original, it realy sucks! A shame that you have to be a expert expert expert to buy something what is original:s

There probably must be not be a expert, is always suspect a combat Wehrmacht bayonet with some etches, additional emblems etc., the nskk was glued into grip, which is not proper mounting for WW2, other way the font of the stamp on pommel is typical postwar, most real it was not stamped but engraved, the frog is yugo and finish on pommel looks like bad blueing. So the result is clear.

IMO a bad fake. The frog is yugoslavian since 1948.

Wrong.
Kingdom of Yugoslavia are also used these bayonet frog, for M24 bayonet.

I'm afraid that it's not the first, nor will it be the last bayonet to be "upgraded" to fake. FP
