HJ Picked up this morning

Good day gentlemen

I picked up this little gem of an HJ knife this morning. I think it looks great but is it OK?

Nice clear motto. Paint on the scabbard seems to be original. As far as I can see there is no evidence of a repaint. Plenty of cross grain visible on the blade

What is something like this worth? Not my field and it will be sold. If it is as good as it looks that is.

Nice early Eickkhorn mark.

The diamond looks pretty perfect. There is a little side to side movement is that correct?

no sign of paint job and the rivets seem sound

there is a little wear on the handle where the strap has rubbed. The leatherwork is a nice dark brown.

That's a very nice and early HJ! Condition is exceptional , you will have alot of interest for sure..congrats, where did you pick it up? Kevin.

Phew! I thought it might have been too good to be true. Along with the parade bayonet and a commando knife also under discussion they came from an old guy in the North of England who thinks his father brought them back from the war.
