Hello,
I would like to ask you, if you could help me with this piece. Do all parts match together? I did a small research on these (made by Eickhorn) and hope all is fine with this dagger. Blade has seen better times, right, but is 700 USD fair price for this piece?

It's fine. Judging by the close up photos of the makers mark it looks like someone may have buffed the blade. $700 USD is fair in my opinion.

A nice piece with honest age and character. Not sure that the portepee is original to this piece; may have been added post-war. I agree that $700.00 is a reasonable price for this piece...perhaps even a bit low, which is good for you!
