      more pictures 7 below the cross guard is the name Hager. Any help?

        Original, early WKC with a replacement pommel.
        This is a nice dagger, worth buying despite cracked grip.

          Thanks for the info.So;the pommel is a replacement is it good or bad?Is the price of 750 OK?Any help on the name would be helpful.

            This dagger originally was the type that had the early flaming ball type pommel and later was changed during the Nazi period.

              I agree, First model navy with 1938 second model pommel probably changed by the original owner. scarce dagger

                Thanks to every one for the feedback.I send the money today to get it.I found out today that there was a Doctor Gerhard Hager in the German navy.It might have been his?
