Imo this is a nice C-Type (Georgi) chained dagger

Looks like a classic type 1.Is the scabbard anodized or painted because I only see one screw on the center band?

Is only one screw on the center band of a type 1 painted scabbard a normal feature?
In Wittmans book the type 1 painted scabbards only seem to have 1 screw.
Simon can you see D.R.G.M on the spring clip through the cloverleaf connector? or any part of it?

Gentlemen, many thanks for your input. I've added some further images which may help. My best bet is that the scabbard has an anodized finish but I may be wrong.

Steve, no sign of a DRGM stamp but there is the suspicion of perhaps something under the top loop and showing on the spring clip.

It looks like a stamped "R" to me under the wotan knot. Nothing wrong with this dagger at all.
