The only image I have of this beauty. If memory serves me right it was a Gustav Spitzer with a lot of hand chiseling as seen on early sword hilts. Enjoy

                  Thanks Bob!

Glad you like them. Variety is the spice of life.

Swords are a passion of mine. Especially Imperial damascus as these are. Unfortunately my pockets aren't deep enough to indulge in this passion as much or as often as I'd like to.

                      Tony,
I love Imperial blades, especially when they are Damascus and or high quality hilts. Most of them are not the greatest quality, but when you get a nice one...Wow!!!
                      Thanks, great "stuff"!

Wow Tony, you DELIVER! The Henckels is not as I expected being the Generic B fittings, still a nice one! Love your early WKC, nice hand work on that baby. What is the maker of the slant with the interesting knot tieing? Great dark grip! That super hand worked slant is a mind blower!! I agree with Tom, detail on pommel and guard smells like Pack..can you double check that one if you still have it? The swords are real beauty's too..thanks for all the entertainment! Kevin.

Thanks Kevin. I appreciate that. It's good to share.

The one with the interesting portepee tie was unmarked. I remember kicking that one around with a couple of collectors and we thought it may be a generic Herder. Not 100% on that conclussion. New home on that one .

The nicely detailed one was Pack fittings but I'm fairly sure it was the early round logo with the lion that Gustav Spitzer used. I'll have to look thru my SOS records as I sold it a couple of years back. Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking.
