Eickhorn Hirschfaenger with early maker mark

    Hi,

I've got this nice one recently, being a bit surprised to see this early maker mark on a TR item. What do you think?

Very well could be a pre third reich piece..perhaps even pre WW1..Kevin.

The trade mark is a Weimar era mark. Post WWI and pre TR. I have a Weimar era Model1889 degen as well as a US Model 1902 with this trademark.

            Hope this helps some.

Ahh, I thought this pattern was introduced after 1933. Thanks for comments!

Here's some pics of my Weimar era Model 1889 degen with a similar Eickhorn trade mark as you show.
