Picked this up today with a few other neat things, never seen this knot before, figured it may be some type of teno knot?

I agree with Wags, not a TeNo knot. Looks like some type of sword knot that's been oxidized, perhaps by sunlight. My guess is some type of Imperial Beamten.

I think it is the very seldom seen knot for the professional hunter. See attached pic.

Whilst the knot below is a proffesional hunters knot, there are other hunting knots to look out for. All of these are hunting knots.
