Looks Original, make sure the blade is full length is there a black or blue blade buffer makers mark? These are not always maker marked.

Also there is a stick Bird over #96 on the crossguard end. The throat of the scabbard is also waffen amted.

I agree, looks like a nice 1st model officer's dagger converted into a 2nd model. Great to see the waffenampt markings. Really nice looking dagger.
