Dress bayonet for opinion

Hi, just got this dress bayonet with this ss pin on the handle, it is a fantasy bayonet or what?

The SS emblem does not look to be period at all, it's poorly done. I'm not even sure the stag grip plates are period to this bayonet, not the unusual looking a rivets. The bayonet itself is probably period but IMHO it's been reworked to be more desirable to collectors.

I'm no expert on blades but those are crawling around gun show and militaria shows as real..
I would't touch one of those damn things

usually with dress bayonets if it has anything like ss emblems it is for sure a fake !! or altered bayonet this looks original bayonet but altered grips !

The 'stag' looks to be jigged bone that has beeb colored and aged to mimic the real ones. The SS roundel looks to be glued in and the area around it shows an amatuer attempt at drilling the recess.

As stated above ....no good.
