Yet more good news everyone.

Mr. Tom Whitman of Whitman Antique Militaria responded to my expert opinion request this morning and informed me that he will review the item and provide me with an expert opinion letter.

Apparently the hyperlink to this thread which I had sent him over the weekend didn't function so he requested photographs.

In addition Paypal has extended my compliance date until May 9th so I may well yet stand a fighting chance once I've received and uploaded I Tom's letter.

Perhaps but Both Paul and Tom were recommended to me here on WAF so I had contacted the both of them when this all developed.

One experts opinion may suffice but with two I can't imagine how they can deny my claim.

I have until late tomorrow to respond so hopefully Tom will come through today and then I'll upload his document and the review will begin.
