Hello,

this is first a - Faustriemen - of the german police from ranks until Polizei-Hauptwachtmeister. Worn together with the Polizeiseitengewehr and Säbel.


In 1940 the firedepartments became a part of the police and were called Feuerlöschpolizei. Since 1940 fireman wore this Faustriemen together with the Faschienenmesser by the ranks until Hauptruppmann.
