I am posting this for sale in the edged weapons section and I am sure it is original but wanted to post it here just to confirm that and to see who exactly this would have belonged to (youth, youth-leader, etc.). I know there are several variations of these so just thought I would post it here to get more information on it. Know a little about these but am far from an expert. Feel free to comment. Charlie

As you stated it is an italian youth dagger for a member of the GIL-Gioventù Italiana del Littorio . The fascio was added probably by the owner to the leather scabbard which was not unusual. It looks like it was taken from a shoulder board.
