    Renaissance wax

I am new to WWII collecting and need some advise on renaissance wax. Has anyone used it on dark leather such as a 1st Luftwaffe scabbard? The container claims it is OK but some wax products leave a white residue in the crevices and low spots.
Until now I collected US Civil War and have used Butchers paste wax on the gun stocks. The clear wax shows up white in the pores and cracks of the old stocks Sand color wax solves that problem but will not work on dark blue. Any advise?

    Renaissance wax

There are a lot of threads about Renwax on the conservation/safekeeping forum. I used some on the leather steering wheel in my truck and I don't see any problems.

      RenWax

I just started using RenWax recently and have not had any problems while utilizing it on a multitude of material. It does state to use it sparingly and treat small sections at a time, otherwise the Wax dries and is more difficult to Buff out.
