Question on HJ Dagger

i have allways wanted to know this, why did they mount a small spring under the diamond where the swastika is placed on a Hitler Jugend (youth) dagger?

"does any one have a close picture what its is like under the diamond?"

Hi Johnny - The HJ dagger is something different and very expensive. I believe you are asking about a HJ KNIFE. It is not spring loaded. Before the grip is riveted on the knife a HJ pin is placed on it. The metal pins on the back are folded back and the springy feeling is the compression of the pins and movement.

thanks very much for the information, i mean i never seen what is right behind the hj Knife, by the way i see the Hj Knife really as a dagger, its not really a pen knife or just a knife, oh well
