I have been advised by another member that the cross guards on this maybe dodgy. Any thoughts?

Looks like a generic A type cross guard that was used by Rbt. Klaas. I can't see anything 'dodgy' about it. In some publications that dagger is also shown with the generic type B cross guard which was also used by Klaas. Tell those 'critics' to be a little more specific with their concerns.

My friend, it's pretty typical for people to be 'adamant' in their opinions about these things. Another member tells me that the cross guard is correct, but a rarer version than that most commonly used. It is true that both types are to be found on this dagger. The fit if the guard is perfect, it doesn't seem to have been interfered with,. Same with the tang. I'm happy it's OK.
Thanks for giving me your opinion.
        Cheers
        Ted
