Very nice pickup. Is very hard to see a later one with this amazing crossguards condition. But it's not a Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co., it's a M7/67 Gottlieb Hammesfahr.
I have a bit of a chuckle whenever I hear someone badmouthing later(RZM) SAs. Condition wise and construction wise I think it would be difficult for anyone to find fault with a dagger like this. Congratulations on a very nice find!
Was it buried in with all the evil black guns that the criminals are buying up in droves!

looks in great condition apart from the split in the top scabbard fitting on the side next to the screw ?

Mac,
I think you may be right. I just checked it with the magnifying glass and it looks like a tiny partial split. One of these cases where the 10X optical lens of the camera sees better than my naked eye !
You did great! Did you see alot of criminals buying exspensive firearms with the latest technological innovations at the gun show?
No criminals observed, but the crowd was the biggest I saw in 17 years. Saw a lot of people trying to sell ratty SKS's for $1000. The dealers were swamped with people 3 deep filling out their 4473's on clipboards waiting for their turn at the background checks.
