who can identify rhis dagger/sword?

Looks initially to be a Prussian short sword with a broken off piece on the crossguard

from looking in angolias swords of germany book it appears to be a Custom Artillery Sidearm , in angolias shows WKC version , yours is Eickhorn back to back squirrel from 1906 to 1921 and yours appears to have slight curve to blade rather than straight . hope this helps
