          Hi Mike,

I'd pass that one by as it's not period authentic IMO. Also, the seller does not accept returns (a huge red flag on any big ticket item) and has this site with several other questionable items.

My advice is to buy from someone like Paul Hogle. Paul's a member here (lakesidetrader) and has this site...

          http://www.lakesidetrader.com/

Paul is well known to the dagger community as being one of the good guys.

          Regards,
          Stu

It may be all original regarding the parts. But I feel that dagger has been cobbled, i.e. assembled from parts from other daggers.

                Cog,
You think all the parts are original? Even the chain? I was thinking that at least chain was fake. Seller pictures are not good, so it makes it very hard to see it.

I agree: I look at these sites occasionally to see what's currently being foisted on the unknowing . Much is just garbage and I think these sites have replaced other well known older venues for dealers and collectors to dump their bad items.
Their "No Return" policy should be a red light warning to all.

99% of those 1211/39 blades are bad.
If you ask the seller for pics of the tang you will know why.
