Mystery dagger

I bought that dagger without sheath a long time ago,i never found an explanation about what it was made for.
Maybe somebody gonna help me to resolve that mystery.

Could the handle / button and crossguards be NPEA?? Just a thought.

Handle and crosguard may be NPEA a rare part that would bring good $$$$$$ also the RLB blade should also bring hundreds of $$$$$. All that matters now is if they are genuine.
