HJ Knife opinion needed

Hi
I need some opinions on this HJ knife M7/13(Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co. Solingen-Wald)
I must admit I really dont know much about these,the RZM M7/13 marking is not very clear.
On the knife the blade is magnetic,the rest is non magnetic,and the HJ badge in the grip cant
move.
So let me know what you think.

That looks to be a genuine M7/13 by Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co., Solingen-Wald,

It has a solid red/opaque enamel daimond which i & others believe to be genuine but some collectors do not agree as you know by the solid red thread,

Saying that: as you have said the daimond does not have any movement, sometimes they do not move & have not been glued, can you see any signs of glue at all, does it have a very slight movement ?

Proof Positive?

Well, this should ignite that controversial and ever-deepening thread on the question of Solid Red HJ Diamonds in the handle of Hitler Jugend Knives.

What you have is an original late HJ by Arthur Schüttelhöfer, which is the most common producer of HJ's.

There are many variants of the late HJ by this maker:
- with stamped and with etched maker mark
- with steel and with alloy hilts
- some have very interesting leather hangers: made of multiple pieces of skin.

However the diamond of your knife is unquestionable a replacement and the fact that it does not wiggles confirms this. If you would remove it, you will find the glue, I am absolutely sure of that.

So I would recomment to return this knife to the seller if possible.

If not possible, replacing the wrong diamond with a good one would significantly increase the value of the piece, because the overall condition seems fine.
