    Hi Mats, thanks a lot for your information. I've looked at the blade but I didn't see any other number. I agree that propably it has been re-numbered.

      This is also stamped 154 but the logo on the blade is completely different. Do you think this is possible?

      There may be one or two other things incorrect about the knife that is pictured. The numbers are bench numbers to keep pieces togehter during the manufacturing process, nothing wrong with two knives having the same number produced at different times. I have an SMF with the same arrow as the one pictured. It is not the correct arrow for an SMF. The end cap appears to have been messed with (the extra grind on the cap). If you would like, please e-mail me and I will send a list of characteristics/features that this knife may have that is not correct with a period or SMF knife.
