Here is the original logo that I've found on LH 600 post in the following thread:

Hi,
As AndyC states, the logos varies slightly (see picture below). I have absoulutly no problems with waffenzujars gravity knife, since it is also non take down (Type I). Valsentes does how ever confuse me, the blade looks ok, but the housing "slotted for spike spring" seems to be a Paul Weyersberg...

OK. But now we have another problem. Look how all the parts of the knife are punched 154.
Well, this should be a good thing but look at this Wittmann's knife :

This is also stamped 154 but the logo on the blade is completely different. Do you think this is possible?

The #154 is an assembly number (on the Wittmann knife actually #154 3) and states in no way when the knife was produced. Tens of thousands of knifes were delivered and with maximum four digit combinations there are many knives with the same assembly numbers... The Wittmann sample is of Type I and manufactured between 1937 and 1941. Yours is a Type II where the housing is manufactured by Weyersberg and the stainless blade by SMF (rare combination if genuine) and could have been assembled between 1938 and 1944/45. The blade on your knife (manufactured during the same years as the Wittmann knife) seems to have been re-numbered, is there an old number beneath?
