Help with SA Dagger idenification

I bought this nice early SA dagger from a longtime family friend who's father had this since he brought it home from ww2. I was told that it was a Ground Rohm dagger and bought it based on photo's. When I received it I was stumped (not familiar with SA's too much). The dagger does apper to have had the maker mark removed as a very faint shadow of a circular mark can be seen, and the tang has the mark of a Marine SA (anchor in a cirlcle). The scabbard appears to have been painted black over brown anodized. It appears to have been together for ever with corrosion and gunk under the guard and pommel. The guard is marked "he". I am counting on the experts here to help me out and educate me a little about this dagger. Thanks in advance, SB

"A quick word about NSKK daggers: In 1936 the order came down that NSKK, (logistics or transportation troops) were to differentiate their daggers from SA daggers by wearing black scabbards. After the orders were communicated, NSKK scabbards were repainted black. These guys were not rich and in most cases this was a backyard quality job right over the brown anodized finish. NSKK daggers issued after the 1936 order were factory painted black. Black painted scabbards are the only difference between SA and NSKK daggers."

As for the Marine SA situation you should run an Advanced Search on "Marine SA" and start reading. There will be many opinions.

Hi , coyotecolo (long name!), your dagger is probably a roehm ground dagger.
the ground of roehm dedication many times removed partially or completely the maker mark. about the maker you show a very important details: the tang.
it is nothing to refer to a Marine SA this is the tang cast mark of" Gebruder Heller schmalkalden" that use to have the anchor logo as maker mark. Gebruder Heller also use to made Roehm dagger. usually, I have to say, the "devise" alles fur deutscheland in Heller dagger is very dark black, and probably someone remove the basic color in order to clean it. you can see my dagger on "show your SA eary dagger" that is probably as your.

Yes. An NSKK is simply an SA dagger with black scabbard.

Hi , as Stu W said , a "Nskk dagger is simply an SA with black scabbard", that your is a ground roehm is possible but the photo you post is not so clear IMO, we make opinions not "expertise".
