Unknown Solingen maker

Hello,

Does anyone know this Solingen maker mark?

It looks like a key with the letter E in it.

It's not on a 3rd Reich piece, I'd guess the blade to be about 100 years old.

Tony,

Can you show what type of weapon you found these marks on? A picture of the whole may be helpful.The marks look to be acceptence or inspection stamps of some sort rather than a makers mark. Is there anything in front of the word SOLINGEN? Sorry, but there's not much to work with here.

Thanks for the help.

It's a swagger stick sword (if that's the right name), here's the whole thing but it isn't detailed, the flash from the camera is in the way too.

I noticed 2 other stamps just now. They are ?.H in an oval and the number 5.

The key type stamp is on each side of the wording Solingen, this can be found on the two wider sides of the 4 sided blade.
