beware e-stand trader

Hey I just thought to let you know that Doug Teed, selling on e-stand as dagger doug, is not quite straight. I bought a scarce dagger from him a couple weeks ago for a premium price, the day I received it I realized it had been re-pointed........nearly 1/4" short and clearly ground and buffed....... As i offered to buy this I had made it clear that the price was ok IF there were no problems with it and specified the blade length\re-point thing. He said it was fine of course.

It has been 16 days now and three messages to him and he will not respond, I guess a liar and thief.

I'm well aware that if I make a mistake at a show after handling an item it's my own damn fault, but no-good dealers on a forum respected as this is should be tagged.

Real cool dagger "Doug" but no thanks next time.

This is not good....if you are not satisfied then you are entitled to a refund.

These are the rules of the e-stand. Failure to complywith these rules will result in the revocation of Association Membership.

I) Returns –

a) Returns must be allowed by the seller for any reason for a period of 7 seven days from when the items arrives.

b) The item must be returned via traceable means, and in the same exact condition as was received.
