        Interesting to see how the different elements look after 70 years in a water. Finds like this are the best reference, as the originality doesn't need to be discussed.

          Gee, look at all that patina!!! This ought to raise the excitement level of the grunge collectors.This is one of those specimens that would stir up the ghosts of the past and speak to them. Some even hear it go bump in the night.

                  That`s why I never bought a Rembrandt. Every time they go in another collection or pass through a dealer the value goes down. Another 100 years and they`ll be practically worthless.

                  No offence intended, I`m just making a joke & I do appreciate your sentiment.

                  But that can now no longer be said for this piece just like all the others.

                  The moment is there and then it is gone.
